Last updated: 5 October 2026 · Applies to the Auricon icon pack for Android
In short: Auricon is an icon pack. It has no accounts, no logins, no analytics and shows no ads. Your settings stay on your phone. To show which of your apps don't have an icon yet, it looks at the list of apps on your phone, and that list never leaves it. An icon request is sent only when you tap Send, by email from your own email app. We advertise Auricon on Facebook and Instagram, so the app tells Meta (Facebook) when it's installed and opened, to show us which ads worked. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it asks you first and sends nothing unless you allow it. We never sell your personal information.
Auricon (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an icon pack for Android made by HS Studio, published by Hiten Soni. For any privacy question or request, contact hitennsoni@gmail.com.
The app saves its settings in your phone's own app storage: your theme and icon shape, your favourite icons, how many free icon requests you have left, your premium request credits (with their Google Play order numbers, so they can be matched to the purchase), and, where it applies, your answer about ad measurement (section 2.5). None of this is sent to us.
So it can show which of your apps Auricon has no icon for yet, and help you request them, the app reads the list of apps installed on your phone: their names, package and activity names, and their current icons. It also checks which home-screen launchers you have installed, so it can apply the icons to yours. This happens on your phone only. The list is not stored by us or sent anywhere, except for the apps you choose to include in an icon request (2.3).
An icon request is sent only when you tap Send. The app prepares a file and hands it to your own email app, and you send it from there. It contains, for the apps you picked only: their names, package and activity names, and their current icons. A premium request also contains the Google Play order numbers of the credits it uses. Because it's an email, we also receive the email address you send it from. We use requests only to make the icons you asked for and, for premium requests, to match them to your purchase.
Premium request credits are bought through Google Play, which handles the payment. We never see or store your card number, billing address or any other payment details. The app only receives what it needs to credit your purchase: the product you bought and its order number. Purchases are not reported to Meta or anyone else. Google's handling of your payment is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
We advertise Auricon on Facebook and Instagram. So that we can tell which of those ads led to an install, rather than paying for ads blindly, the app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK. It tells Meta only when the app is installed and opened. It does not report your purchases. For this, Meta receives your phone's advertising ID, your IP address, and basic device and app information (such as the phone model, Android version, language and app version), along with Google Play's install referrer, which says which ad or link the install came from. It does not receive the list of your apps, your icon requests, your settings, or anything else you do in the app, and it does not require a Facebook account.
Meta's handling of this data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy, and its role for this kind of measurement is described in the Meta Business Tools Terms.
Auricon's wallpapers are included in the app and are set directly on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.
The app checks, on your phone, that it was installed from Google Play and is the genuine version. Nothing is sent anywhere for this.
If your phone's backup is switched on, Android may include the app's settings (2.1) in your backup to your Google account and restore them on a new phone. That is your own device backup, controlled by you in your phone's settings, and we never see it.
The app links to our Instagram and Facebook pages, our website and Google Play. These open in other apps or your browser and are covered by those services' own privacy policies.

We do not use your information for any automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers. Information is shared only with Google (payments) and Meta (measuring our own advertising, subject to the consent choice in 2.5). We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
Depending on where you live, sharing an advertising ID with Meta may count as “sharing” personal information under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. Section 6 explains how to opt out.
Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. The only personal information we hold ourselves is the email you sent us; contact us and we will act on your request. For data Meta or Google hold, their privacy policies (linked above) explain how to make requests to them. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In India, you can raise any grievance under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act with us at hitennsoni@gmail.com, and we will respond promptly.
Auricon is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at hitennsoni@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Data on your phone stays there until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Icon request emails are kept in our mailbox for as long as we need them to make the requested icons and to keep a record of paid requests, and are deleted when you ask. Meta and Google keep the data they receive according to their own retention policies, described in their privacy policies.
Our service providers (Google and Meta) operate globally and may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Those transfers are made under the safeguards described in their privacy policies, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Emails you send us are handled by our email provider, which may also store them outside your country.
The app's data is kept in your phone's own app storage, protected by Android's app sandbox and, where enabled, device encryption. Data sent to Meta is encrypted in transit. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but the data involved is limited and contains no payment details.
This page uses a Google tag to measure visits and advertising performance for the site. That is separate from the app. You can block it with your browser's cookie or tracking controls; Google's use of the data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
We may update this policy as the app changes, for example if a feature begins using data it did not use before. The “Last updated” date at the top will always change when it does, and the app's built-in privacy policy (Settings → Privacy policy) always describes the version you have installed.
