<a class="back" href="/">← HS Studio</a> <header> <h1>Delete Your Data — Eclipse Runner</h1> <p class="sub">Last updated: 4 September 2026 · Applies to the Eclipse Runner app for iPhone and iPad</p> </header> <main> <div class="lede"> <p>Eclipse Runner has no accounts and asks for no name, email address or payment details. The only thing it stores is your game progress. This page explains exactly where that progress lives and how to erase it from each place — all of which you can do yourself, from your own device, in a few seconds.</p> </div> <p style="color:var(--muted);font-size:15px"> Using an Android phone? That version differs — it syncs through Google Play Games, and its advertising consent is Google's consent form rather than Apple's tracking prompt. What there is to delete</h2> <p>The only data is your gameplay state: which levels you have cleared, your stars and best times, the shards you have collected, the abilities you have earned and which one you are carrying, the memory fragments you have found, anything you have purchased, and your settings. There is no personal information in it.</p> <p>Depending on your settings, a copy of that data can exist in two places:</p> <table> <tr><th>Where</th><th>When it exists</th><th>Who holds it</th></tr> <tr> <td>Your device</td> <td>Always</td> <td>You — it never leaves the device unless iCloud save is on</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Your own iCloud</td> <td>When iCloud save is on</td> <td>Apple, inside <em>your</em> iCloud account. We cannot read it and receive nothing</td> </tr> </table> <p>There is no third row. We operate no server and hold no copy of your save, so there is nothing on our side to request, and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.</p> <h2>2. Delete the data on your device</h2> <p>Either of these erases everything the app has saved locally:</p> <ul> <li><strong>In the app:</strong> Settings → <strong>Reset progress</strong>. This clears your levels, stars, shards and abilities immediately. It asks you to confirm first.</li> <li><strong>Uninstall the app.</strong> Removing Eclipse Runner removes its local storage with it.</li> </ul> <h2>3. Delete the copy in your iCloud</h2> <p>The cloud copy sits in your own private iCloud storage, not on any server we operate — so you control it directly. To clear it:</p> <ul> <li>Leave <strong>Settings → iCloud save</strong> switched <strong>on</strong>, then use <strong>Settings → Reset progress</strong>. The cleared save is synced up and replaces the stored copy, so the old progress is gone from iCloud too.</li> <li>To stop any further syncing, turn <strong>Settings → iCloud save</strong> <strong>off</strong>. Your game data then stays on the device only.</li> <li>To remove the app's iCloud data wholesale, delete the app and then, on your device, go to <strong>Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage</strong> and remove the data stored for Eclipse Runner.</li> </ul> <p>Order matters: if you want the iCloud copy cleared, run Reset progress <em>while iCloud save is still on</em>. Turning iCloud save off first leaves the last synced copy sitting in iCloud until you remove it through your Apple Account.</p> <p>The synced copy is a small key-value record rather than a file, which is why it is not listed for individual deletion in iOS Settings the way a document would be.</p> <h2>4. Purchases</h2> <p>Purchases — Eclipse Runner Pro, and the shard packs — are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details, so there is nothing for us to delete. Your purchase history lives in your Apple Account, and <strong>Settings → Restore purchases</strong> reads it from there. Deleting your game data does not cancel a purchase: Pro can still be restored afterwards, and a reset deliberately does not take away something you paid for.</p> <h2>5. Advertising</h2> <p>Advertising identifiers are held by Google, not by us. You can reset or remove yours at any time in <strong>Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking</strong>, and in <strong>Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising</strong>. Google's retention of that data is governed by the <a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy" rel="noopener">Google Privacy Policy</a>.</p> <p><strong>Meta.</strong> Where you have allowed tracking, the app reports installs and app opens to Meta so we can measure our own Facebook and Instagram ads. There is no stored record for us to delete — we hold nothing — but you can stop it at any time by choosing <em>Ask App Not to Track</em> in <strong>Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking</strong>, and resetting your advertising identifier breaks the link to your device. If you have a Facebook account, Meta's own settings let you review and clear activity it has received from apps. Meta's retention is governed by the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/" rel="noopener">Meta Privacy Policy</a>.</p> <p><strong>Buying Pro</strong> removes the forced between-level ads.
