Twin Trace (“we”, “the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. By using Twin Trace you agree to this policy.
The short version: Your progress is saved on your device. If your device is already signed in to Google Play Games, the app signs you in automatically when it starts and backs your save up to our cloud, so it survives reinstalls and syncs across devices. You can sign out at any time in Settings, and you can ask us to delete your cloud save. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses a device advertising identifier. We do not sell your data.
We show ads through Google AdMob, which may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. In regions that require it (such as the EU/UK), you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, in line with Google's consent requirements. If you decline, you will still see ads — just non-personalized ones.
In-app purchases (points packs and the Pro upgrade) are processed entirely by Google Play using Google Play Billing. We never see or receive your payment details — we are only told that a purchase completed, so the app can unlock what you bought.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes. Crash reports contain diagnostic information (device model, OS version, stack traces) and are not linked to the contents of your account beyond an anonymous identifier.
With your permission, we send notifications — a daily reminder and occasional announcements via Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed by Google (Firebase and AdMob) acting as our service providers, subject to Google's own privacy policies:
If you are never signed in, your game data stays on your device and we hold nothing at all. Cloud-saved game data is kept while your account exists. To delete it, follow our account & data deletion instructions, or email us requesting deletion and we will remove your stored game document. Any support email you send is kept only as long as needed to resolve your request.
Data that leaves your device — cloud save, sign-in, and purchases — is encrypted in transit and handled by Google's secure infrastructure. Your cloud save is stored under your own account identifier and our database rules only permit that signed-in account to read or write it. Uninstalling the app removes its on-device data.
Twin Trace is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
If you have a privacy question or request — including under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or the CCPA (California) — email us and we will respond.
Questions or requests? Email hitennsoni@gmail.com.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected in the app and at this page's URL.
