Last updated: 14 September 2026 · Applies to the Eclipse Runner app for Android
In short: Eclipse Runner has no accounts and no logins of ours. Your game progress is saved on your device, and — so it can come back after a reinstall or on your other devices — it can also sync through Google Play Games. Cloud save is on by default and you can switch it off at any time in the app's Settings. We do not run analytics in the app and we never sell your personal information. The app can show ads supplied by Google AdMob, and Google may use your device's advertising ID to do that — you can reset or delete that ID at any time in your Android settings. The app also reports app installs and app opens to Meta (Facebook), so we can tell which of our ads actually brought players in; this happens only if you agree to personalised advertising in Google's consent form, and that one answer covers Google and Meta together.
Using an iPhone or iPad? That version differs — it syncs through iCloud, and its advertising consent is Apple's tracking prompt rather than Google's consent form. See the iOS privacy policy.
Eclipse Runner (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is an independent mobile game published by HS Studio (Hiten Soni). For any privacy question or request, contact hitennsoni@gmail.com.
The app saves your gameplay state locally on your device using Android's standard app storage. This includes which levels you have cleared, your stars and best times, the shards you have collected, the abilities you have earned and which one you are carrying, the memory fragments you have found, anything you have purchased, and your settings.
This information contains no name, email address or payment details. It is never sent to any server of ours — we operate none.
So your progress survives a reinstall and can follow you to another device, the app can copy the game data described in 2.1 off the device. Cloud save is on by default and can be turned off at any time in Settings → Cloud save. With it off, nothing is sent up and nothing is merged back.
Google Play Games — your own Google account. The app writes a single small saved-game record into your own Google account through Play Games Saved Games. There is no sign-up and no account with us. That record lives in your Google account, not on any server we operate: we cannot read it, and we receive nothing. To use it you sign in to Play Games, which is Google's own sign-in — the app never sees your Google password, and Google provides the app with a Play Games player ID rather than your name or email address. Google's handling of this is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Android Auto Backup. Separately from the above, this app allows Android's standard Auto Backup. When your device has backup switched on, the operating system may copy this app's on-device data into your own Google account, and restore it when you reinstall the app or set up a new phone. That is your own device backup, controlled by you in Android Settings → Google → Backup, and we never see it. It happens whether or not cloud save is switched on in the app, because it belongs to the operating system rather than to the game.
The app displays advertisements through Google AdMob. Ads appear between levels, and you can also choose to watch an ad in exchange for an extra life. To serve, cap and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
This data is collected by Google directly through its SDK. We do not receive your advertising ID or IP address, and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and described further at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
The app declares the AD_ID permission, and Google's SDK declares the Android Privacy
Sandbox advertising permissions, because the ad SDK needs them to work. They belong to the advertising
kit, not to the game.
Measuring our own ads — Meta. We advertise Eclipse Runner on Facebook and Instagram. So that we can tell which of those ads led to an install rather than paying for ads blindly, the app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which reports to Meta that the app was installed and opened. For that purpose Meta may process your device's advertising ID, IP address, and basic device and app information. It does not require a Facebook account, and you do not have to be a Facebook user for it to apply.
Meta's handling of this data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy, and its role for this kind of measurement is described in the Meta Business Tools Terms.
The app offers optional in-app purchases — a Pro version that removes the between-level ads, and packs of shards. Anything you buy, you buy from Google Play, and the payment is processed entirely by its own billing system. We never see or store your card number, billing address, or any other payment details — only the confirmation needed to unlock the item on your device. An item the store is not currently offering is shown in the game as “Soon”, and nothing is sent to Google unless you buy something.

We do not use your information for any automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers. On Android, information is shared with Google — for advertising, for Play Games cloud save, for Android's own backup, and for payments if you make one — strictly so the app can function, and with Meta where you have consented to personalised advertising, strictly to measure our own advertising as described in 2.3. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
Depending on your region and your choices, sharing an advertising identifier for personalised advertising may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. Section 6 explains how to opt out.
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We hold no cloud-save record of our own, so there is nothing on our side to retrieve or delete — the synced copy sits in your own Google account. For advertising data, requests are best directed to Google using the links in Section 2.3. You are welcome to contact us at hitennsoni@gmail.com and we will help where we can.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Eclipse Runner is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at hitennsoni@gmail.com and we will delete what we can. Ads served in the app are configured for a general audience.
Gameplay data remains on your device until you reset progress or uninstall the app. A copy synced to Play Games remains in your Google account until it is replaced by a later save (for example after Reset progress) or deleted by you through the Google Play Games app. A copy held by Android Auto Backup is kept by Google under its own backup rules and is removed when you delete the app's backup or uninstall the app for long enough. We keep no cloud-save record of our own.
Advertising data is retained by Google and by Meta according to their own retention schedules, described in their respective privacy policies.
Our service providers (Google and Meta) operate globally and may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Those transfers are made under the safeguards described in their respective privacy policies, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your game data is held in your device's own app storage, protected by Android's application sandbox and, where you have enabled it, device encryption. A copy synced to Play Games or held in Android's backup is protected by your Google account. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but the data involved is limited to game progress and settings.
This page is served from hitensoni.com, which uses Google Tag Manager and Google Ads tags to measure how people arrive at the site. That is website measurement and is separate from the app. You can control it through your browser's cookie settings and through Google's own ad settings.
If any of this changes, the new policy appears on this page and the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's own copy of this policy.
